Positions & Plans

Public Safety & Police Facility

Government's first duty is to keep people safe. Our current station is outdated and undersized. Delays cost more later—in dollars and in service. I support moving forward on a right-sized, modern facility with clear cost breakdowns, public updates, and accountability.

Budget & Stewardship

Every dime belongs to the citizens. I'll study the budget line by line, fund core services first (safety, water, roads), and keep spending transparent. Wants never outrank needs.

Infrastructure: Reconnecting Rexburg

Highway 20 divides our city. I'll champion underpasses/bridges where they make the biggest impact on traffic, emergency response, and growth.

Housing That Fits Rexburg

We'll use fair zoning and proactive planning to unlock sensible options for students and families. The city can't “create” affordability alone, but it can convene partners and reduce friction so good projects prevail.

Parks, Fields & Youth

We should keep expanding green space and playfields so families and youth have healthy places to gather, practice, and compete.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you running for City Council?

Because I love Rexburg. We should honor the legacy of hard work, thrift, and service—and plan boldly so families, students, and future generations can flourish here. Decisions should always ask: does this improve quality of life for our citizens?

How will you handle the city budget?

Every tax dollar is a stewardship. I'll study the budget line by line, fund essential services first, and make sure spending decisions are transparent and accountable.

What is your stance on housing?

We need housing that fits Rexburg. That means fair zoning and proactive planning so families and students have options that make sense for our community.

What about traffic and Highway 20?

I'll push for underpasses or bridges at key locations to reconnect Rexburg, improve emergency response, and make traffic flow safer and smoother.

Do you support a new police station?

Yes. Our current station is outdated. I support a modern, right-sized facility with public accountability and clear cost reporting.
